Case Logic, a company with a long history of making bags for laptops, CDs, DVD players, MP3 players and other portable devices, has launched a line of cases designed for small laptops. While you could just pick up a case made for a portable DVD player and throw your 9 inch netbook in it, the new Case Logic bags features padding to keep your netbook safe, and a number of pockets for storing your power cable, USB accessories, or other doohickeys.
The Case logic bags come in several shapes and sizes, including:
- Vertical Attache for 7-10″ laptops – $26.41
- Asus Eee PC 7-10 inch laptop case – $19.99
- 10″ Neoprene notebook sleeve – $19.08
Pocket Lint reports Case Logic will also bring out a new line of ultraportable laptop cases in the UK this month that will accomodate laptops with screens up to 12″. The prices Pocket Lint quotes seem substantially higher than the cases that are already available in the US, but I can’t tell whether that’s because the UK versions will have additional features or better build quality, or if it’s just because things tend to cost more in the UK.
This weekend, Computer World also took a look at several netbook case options.
What do you carry your netbook around in? Personally I tend to put my Eee PC 1000H in its sleeve and then drop it into the laptop compartment in my Targus backpack.
