I am actually pretty psyched, but the question is "when?" If I only need to pay an extra $100 to get a larger screen, better graphics, better video, and possibly a better Flash 10 experience, I think that's OK. Same logic that people have migrated from the 7" to 10", I think that some will prefer going from the 10" to the 12". Thoughts?

A netbook format, but not using the fusion CPU/GPU single package, i wonder what it is............

low-power dual-core Phenom II at .045u and probably around 1.6GHz
low-power 780G chipset at .055u, hopefully paired with the SB750

Could be a very compelling product when put in a 10" chassis!

Yeah, I didn't expect much from AMD, and it doesn't look like they delivered much. This seals the deal on the NC10 for me... though I hate having to import a black one from the UK. Why Samsung why?

"This chip will likely consume more power, and cost more. In other words, it sounds to me like a chip for small laptops, not necessarily small, cheap laptops"

Exactly as I've said. AMD can't make a cheap and small notebook processor using their existing tech. So they've got to shoot for a different market. Of course what you'll probably see them doing is producing something with decent integrated graphics and trying to market it to the same people who would buy the Asus N10; all seven of them. ;)
