As you may have noticed, Liliputing was offline for quite a bit of the day. The good news is, it shouldn’t happen again anytime soon. I shelled out a few bucks for more reliable hosting today and hopefully you should notice some improvements in page load speeds and fewer random page not found errors. Setting up WordPress was the easy part. I’ll be tackling the task of migrating the forums later this week.

Oh, and while I did run into a few problems during the installation process, I’m pretty sure that most of them were my own fault. Media Temple‘s customer service and technical support, on the other hand is top notch. When I finally gave up on trying to figure out how to fix things on my own, they got my site back up and running within a half hour.
