Red Lenovo Ideapad S10 available for order

If you’ve been holding out on ordering a Lenovo IdeaPad S10 because you were waiting for the fire-engine red model to be available, it looks like the wait is over. Lenovo has added a “customize & buy” option for the red version of the IdeaPad S10 to its web site.

Lenovo says the laptop will ship within 3 to 5 business days, but given Lenovo’s track record, I would take that with a grain of salt.

No word on when the black, pink, or blue models will be available. According to Lenovo’s product page, they should all be available in December. But that’s what it says about the red model too.

You can find out more about the Lenovo Ideapad S10 in the Liliputing Product Database.

Just called Lenovo and they said 10/26/08…hopefully the 08 is right!

I still can't CANCEL my order for a red S10 which I placed in August. Was supposed to ship 9/9 and has said 11/18 ever since. I've talked to five people in two countries over the course of a week and they still can't figure out how to cancel the order. It's madness. So yeah, good luck with that 3-5 day time frame.

my black model shipped today, 10/3. that's not too far off my original, missed 9/23 date, and well ahead of revised shipping date of 10/21. maybe they've finally gotten the mess straightened out.
