Czech computer company Mivvy is adding to its line of netbooks. The company already sells an MSI Wind clone known as the Mivvy M310. Now it looks like you can also pick up a Mivvy L310 which has similar specs, but comes in a different case.

The Mivvy L310 has a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, and a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display. It also comes with:

  • Operating System: Windows Xp, Windows Vista, or no OS installed
  • RAM: 1GB or 2GB
  • Storage: 120GB or 160GB 2.5″, 5400RPM HDD
  • Connectivity: 802.11b/g WiFi, Ethernet
  • Expansion: 3 USB ports, 4-in-1 card reader, VGA
  • Webcam: 1.3MPG
  • Battery: 4 cell, 4400mAh
  • Dimensions: 258 x 189 x 28mm, or about 10.2″ x 7.5″ x 1.1″
  • Weight: 1.4kg or about 3.1 pounds

You can also order an optional USB EDGE or HSDPA modem. No word on price yet, but Mivvy will be displaying the L310 at the Hong Kong Electronic Fair this week.

thanks bedn1!

I seriously have never heard of many of these companies but rock on!!

Its funny how the cranks at CNET and TWIT keep telling us that netbooks are a fad while reports from all over the world since the first EEE show us its more than that.

Are there too many companies making these? Who cares. More companies means more choice, lower prices.

Now, if Apple decides to get into this game, i am sure the pundits will tell us that its legit and heck, maybe they will give them credit like they did for their “inventing” a touch screen phone and MP3 player.

I still dont get netbooks with HD though.
    Why?
Why deal with moving parts and heat?
