LG X110, Samsung NC10 unboxed – Videos

Two of the latest entries in the netbook market are now shipping – just not in the US. Fortunately, Sascha of Eee PC News recently picked up an LG X110 in Germany and Joanna at Laptop Magazine ordered a Samsung NC10 from Korea. And they’ve each posted some  unboxing videos to prove it.

There aren’t  a ton of surprises in either box. As expected, the Samsung NC10 appears to have an excellent keyboard with large keys, a full sized right Shift key, and a nice looking case.

The LG X110 bears a striking resemblance to the MSI Wind. Both netbooks have pretty much the same trackpad, display, and LED lights. The LG X110 does have a moe angular looking case and a slightly different keyboard layout with a double-height Enter key and a tiny right-shift key placed to the right of the page up button (which I know will frustate some touch-typists).

You can check out the LG X110 unboxing videos after the break. Make sure to visit Laptop Magazine’s blog to check out the Samsung NC10 unboxing video.

I seriously can't wait to see the full test. I hope the battery life won't be too crappy and it's not a heater. I'm totally gonna buy this Samsung beauty.

Whoops, I mistook the tiny key next to the up arrow for the shift key. But
it looks like there's actually a large shift key over the top of the up
arrow. Can anyone tell what the other key is?

A pity LG didn't produce a netbook version of their X100 model with its 10.6″ widescreen. This would have set it apart from the crowd, and although it's not perfect for webbrowsing it would be ideal for those who want to watch movies on the go
