automatically cut off, even if you continue to charge a day, the state does not have any changed. Generally speaking, even the slowest charging machine, six http://www.bestlaptopbattery.co.uk/acer/black-a... hours is completely filled. Instead, get the new machines when the power should first get a refill shine.

Actually, there is a free PCI-E bus on models that don't use a 3G modem. But this might be very difficult to use.

JMicron makes a chip that is the exact same as the chip used to drive the SD Card readers, with the exception that, in addition to driving the SD readers, it can drive a 1394a bus. It has the exact same pinout and size and everything as the ones that are on the acer motherboard (the 1394 leads are unused on it). If you could get ahold of one of those chips, and if you don't mind soldering very tiny connections, you might just be able to accomplish the feat of adding a firewire port to the Aspire One.

firewire hack might be impossible or very difficult since this require a firewire chipset that needs to be connected to some i/o channel/bus, which there isn't any available on the AA1. The new macbook don't even come with firewire anymore.

Maximum memory upgrade! That's on everyone mind. I've seen post that the AA1 can potentially have total of 2.5GB of RAM installed, leaving 512MB for video and 2GB for the OS is this correct or just a myth? The chipset only support 2GB, so is there any truth in this? Can you please lead us Tnkgirl?
