I can't help wondering if the S101 promotional campaign might backfire. The "social elite" aren't going to spend a few hundred dollars on a device from a company with a name they're not even sure how to pronounce. Instead, they're going to feel a lot more comfortable putting down twice that much on the latest shiny offering from Apple or Sony.

As for the rest of us, the marketing campaign might have been hoping to put a "buy one and become one of the social elite" spin on it, but personally I feel it's coming off as "this product is too good for you" arrogant.
