Yeah all Japanese EEE models have the X in them and are exactly the same as their overseas counterparts, the only difference with Japanese models is the different keyboard layout and no Linux option. It's about time this model arrived here, it's way overdue.

Dear Asus:

For the love of all that is holy, would you PLEASE STOP INTRODUCING NEW EEE MODELS FOR A LITTLE WHILE?

I can barely keep track of which one is which, and I'm a giant geek! How are normal people supposed to deal with it?

As for display 10 types WSVGA (1024×600 dot) liquid crystal. CPU Atom N270 (1.60GHz) with, chip set makes Intel make. As for memory capacity 1GB, hard disk device (HDD) as for capacity 160GB. It loads the Web camera of 1,300,000 pixel, does not build in optical drive. USB 3 systems, the mini- D-Sub15 pin, voice input/output is had for interface, MMC, including the card slot of SD/SDHC memory card correspondence.
Wow. I don't know how I missed that. I wonder if it's a translation error,
because I just don't see how it's possible to cram an optical drive in a
netbook this size without a MAJOR redesign. Anyone in the house able to read
Japanese and tell us if this is a Google Translate mistake?
