SmoothCreations paints an Acer Aspire One, offers it with Vista

Smooth Creations is selling a custom netbook with a rather unusual paint job called the “wedge.” But as jkkmobile points out, this is pretty clearly a dressed up Acer Aspire One laptop. It has the same specs as the Aspire One with a 120GB hard drive and all the ports and other bits appear to be in the same place.

Aside from the custom paint job, the SmoothCreations sets the Wedge apart from the Aspire One by offering the option of Windows XP or Windows Vista. The Aspire One comes in Windows XP or Linpus Linux Lite versions.

The SmoothCreations Wedge will set you back about $500.
