More details on the Samsung Netbook

Thanks to the help of the folks at what appears to be a Korean message board, jkkmobile has posted some additional details about the upcoming Samsung netbook. The computer should be available in October in Korea for the equivalent of about $550 US. Here’s what you get for the money:

  • Display: 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixels
  • CPU: 1.6GHz Intel Atom
  • RAM: 1GB
  • Storage: 80GB, 120GB, or 160GB HDD
  • Connectivity: Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth
  • Expansion: 3 USB ports, 3-in-1 card reader, VGA output
  • Weight: 1.3kg or about 2.9 pounds
  • Battery: 6 cells

No word on if or when this laptop will be available outside of Korea.
