How to waterproof an Eee PC

  • Email

There are some questions that we’ll never have answers for. And there are some that we just never bother asking — until some guy comes along and decides to answer them anyway. For example, can you waterproof an Eee PC by sticking it in a ziploc bag?

Apparently yes, yes you can.

It should probably go without saying, but I strongly advise you don’t try this at home unless you’re OK with throwing a few hundred dollars out the window when you realize there was a tiny hole in the bag.

Update: If you’re looking to spend a few more bucks on a slightly more professional waterproofing solution, you might want to check out the Pelican 1090CC laptop case.
