Not satisfied with the 5-6 hour battery life you can get out of an Eee PC 1000H with a 6 cell, 6600mAh battery? French batteyr makers Bluetrade are selling 8 cell, 9800mAh batteries for 100 Euros or about $140 US.

The batteries should work with Asus Eee PC 901, 1000, and 1000H models. They’ll also make your laptop a bit heavier and a bit uglier. But that’s a small price to pay for never having to carry a charger. My guess is that you should be able to get at least 7-8 hours of life out of a 9800mAh battery. But that’s just a guess.
