Raon Digital, a company best known (if known at all) for making keyboard-less UMPCs has announced its first entry into the netbook market. AVING USA reports that the Raon Digital Everun Note sports a tiny 7 inch screen, but it has a 1024 x 600 pixel display which is much sharper than the 800 x 480 pixel display you’ll find on most low cost ultraportables.

The computer also has what appearst o be a rather tiny keyboard, and two memory card slots. Here’s a rundown of the rest of the specs:

• CPU: 1.2GHz AMD Turion 64×2 Dual Core
• OS: Windows XP Home Edition
• RAM: 1GB
• Storage: 12GB SSD to 80GB HDD
• Connectivity: 802.11b/g WiFi, bluetooth
• Expansion: 2 USB ports, 1 USB mini, 1 PCIExpress, USIM card slot, SD card slot
• Webcam: 1.3 megapixels
• Dual monitor: Supports external displays up to 1920 x 1200 pixels
• Battery: 2.5 hours
• Size:200mm x 118mm x 27.5mm

No word on price, but that AMD Turion chip makes me think the Everun Note won’t exactly be the cheapest netbook around. AVING reports that the computer should be available in Korea and North America in early September.
