French site Blogeee has posted some high resolution images of the upcoming Asus Eee PC 900A. It looks almost exactly like the Asus Eee PC 900. So what’s the difference? Damned if I know. Pierre at Blogeee is guessing that the A stands for Atom, which means this computer will have the same case and possibly the same storage capacity and RAM as the current Eee PC 900, but will use the new power saving Intel Atom CPU. Sounds like a reasonable guess.

But wait, isn’t that pretty much a description of the Eee PC 901? Well, not quite. The 901 has a slightly different case with a bit more chrome around the edges and some dedicated function keys. If you prefer the Eee PC 900 layout and/or if you have accessories like slip covers or cases designed for the Eee PC 900, the 900A might be the more logical upgrade.

No word on price, availability, or whether the A actually stands for Atom yet. But if you want to see images from every imaginable angle, make sure to check out Blogeee.
