Asus Eee PC 900A coming soon (at least to Germany)

It’s official, the A in the Eee PC 900A stands for Atom. Or maybe not, but according to German retailer ComTech, the computer certainly has an Intel Atom CPU. Here’s what else it has:

  • RAM: 1GB
  • Display: 8.9 inch 1024 x 600 pixel screen
  • Storage: 8GB SSD (16GB version coming soon)
  • Connectivity: Ethernet, 802.11b/g
  • Expansion: 3 USB ports, 1 VGA output, headphone, microphone, and SD card reader slots
  • Battery: 4 cell, 4400mAh
  • Dimensions: 225 x 170 x 20~33.8mm
  • Weight: 990 grams
  • Price: 299 Euros
  • Release date: 8/18/2008

As previously noted, the 900A comes in pretty much the same case as the Eee PC 900, so if you prefer that to the stylish new Eee PC 901 case, this might be the PC for you.
