Newbie to the site question: Where are the OQO and the other UMPCs? Is this a form factor issue or a classification/category issue?

For numerical sorting, a simple solution may be to use the same unit of measure for all entries. For example: instead of 1.6 GHz, make the system see 1,600 MHz so that it can compare it against 300 MHz.

Stay tuned... An even more elegant solution is on its way. But it might take
a few weeks to implement.

Nicely done! A comparison feature would be great, as I'm sure there are lots of people trying to choose between several liliputers.

Why not consider the Aspire One?

The screen is not as large as the Eee PC 1000, but the case is nearly as big. As a result, the keyboard is in the same league as the Eee PC 1000 or the MSI Wind.

These all have the same Atom processor, so performance should be roughly the same.

To me, the keyboard is the most important feature.

Oh, and the price of the Aspire One is about half of the Eee PC 1000.

Brad,

Very nicely done.

Easy to use, gives good information and it looks like it will be easy for you to maintain.

If you're looking for something with a larger keyboard, I'd either go with
the min-note or pretty much anything with a 10.2 inch screen (ie: The Eee PC
1000/1000H or MSI Wind).

After a few days of using the Eee PC 1000H I still like the mini-note
keyboard better, but the 1000H is MUCH faster at performing most basic
tasks. Or at least that's how it feels. I'll run some quick tests this week,
time permitting.

One thing's missing -- a quick way to see which are your favorites. In particular, I'm looking for an ultraportable with a not too mini keyboard, 90 percent or so, to take with me to blog world. what's the best choice for someone looking for a speedy, portable laptop to blog on? The mininote? The S10? The Wind?
