Looks like the curly braces (and possibly the square brackets) are on the Fn+[QWERT] keys. The parentheses seem to be on the displaced +/- keys.

But what are all those things on the Fn labels for the number keys? Those sure don’t look like F1-F12!

If Dell doesn’t hurry up and formally announce the Mini Inspiron aka Dell E aka Inspiron 910, even if it’s just to put a stake in the ground with a future availability date, they will miss the boat on this round of netbooks. Lenovo has already started taking orders on their IdeaPad S10 with some people getting 9/9 ship dates. I think Lenovo did a much better job of handling their announcement. Even though they did not have a product to ship yet, they announced specs, prices and availability in specific markets; they made prototypes available for demos to the press. By doing so, they kept some people from buying other brands or at least to delay their buying decisions until they learn more about the S10.

Dell’s complete silence on their netbook leaves even brand-loyal Dell owners in the lurch. Sure, there have been a couple of “leaks” of product specs, but these haven’t been officially acknowledged by Dell, so would-be buyers still don’t know when or if the product will materialize or how much it will cost. I suspect they’ve already missed out on a large chunk of the back-to-school market for netbooks for this year.

I think they might need to examine their business decision on this one. Definitely aimed at the mass market (speaking simply keyboard-wise), they trimmed out all of the keys that computer nerds use. Now we know who will be fixing these computers when the girl across the hall can't get on her wireless, and a keyboard like this is sure to piss people off. So when it comes time for people to buy a new laptop, they ask their local computer nerd. He definitely won't recommend this thing because that keyboard is just bound to piss him off. That's my two cents.
