I can't believe they pumped the price of the Acer up so high! That was really the only thing it had going for it, now I don't see any reason someone would prefer that one. It is interesting to see the price difference between the windows and linux version. With Asus using their varying SSD size to hide the cost of XP, it's interesting to see a company flat out charge more for Windows.

Has there been any word of what the multitouch functions like on Linux?

JKKmobile made me want to throw a touchscreen in my 901 when I get it, since they have the same screen. Good to know the option is there.

I'm with you on the 904/monitor. I think Asus is starting to stretch the
brand a bit thin. If they'd announced all of these products over a two or
three year period, that would be one thing. But this is all a bit too much a
bit too quickly. I mean seriously, they're putting out an HDTV with built in
PC features soon too. Who thought that was a good idea?

But who knows? Maybe the Eee Box and the Eee Monitor will sell well and give
the company the resources it needs to continue pumping out products that are
both cheap and innovative.
