GeCube has unveiled a subnotebook that includes a 10.2 inch screen and a VIA C7-D processor. The laptops most likely won’t hit the streets under the GeCube name. Instead, the company will manufacture the computers for other computer companies. It’s not clear at the moment whether any big names have signed on.
The specs look respectable, but not spectacular. And until we know the price, it’ll be hard to really judge this puppy. But here’s what comes in the box:

- RAM: 512MB DDR2 533 RAM, with an additional SODIMM slot for expansion

- Ports: 3 USB 2.0 ports
- OS: gOS comes preinstalled, but the system also supports Windows XP
